Piano Lesson - Learn To Play O Christmas Tree

In this lesson, you learn the melody of a popular Christmas without the use of notes. You will also learn three simple chords to play along with the melody. Let's start!
O Christmas Tree is a Christmas carol of German origin. O Christmas Tree is his original name in German.
A Tannenbaum is German for a fir tree or Christmas tree. The melody of this Christmas song is an old folk song and the best song is by a famous organist and LeipzigTeacher named Ernst Anschütz 1824th
Here's the first verse of the English version:
O Tannenbaum O Christmas Tree
Your branches green delight us!
O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum
Your branches green delight us!
They are green when summer days are bright
They are green when winter snow is white
O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum
Your branches green delight us!
The first thing we do is find the middle C onKeyboard. On the keyboard of a piano is a standard that is in the middle of the keyboard, sometimes close to the keyhole itself.
The keyboard of a piano in town, you will notice that the notes are the keys to long-CB repeated. This series of notes are called an octave and mid-C C4 is the fourth eighth on the piano is sometimes called.
Even if your keyboard is smaller with fewer middle C octave is still called C4.
Let's see nowto the tune of O Christmas Tree, and you can play the strings with his left hand. We will start with the melody in the song:
O (F) O Christmas tree, Christmas tree
C4 (F) F4 F4 F4 G4 G4 G4 G4
The (F) in the text and the melody is to specify that an agreement of F major with the left hand playing with the notice of the rope. As you play an F major chord?
There are many ways to play It's an agreement, but here is a simple example for the leftBy hand:
F: C3 F3 A3
C3 means that playing a C in the eighth on the left side of C4. Play the three notes of the chord together, how to play right next to the touch.
Time for the next line:
Your (C7) branches of green (F) light there
A4 (C7) E4 G4 A4 Bb4 (C) G4 F4
The note B is the black key immediately to the left of B.
As you can see, it's time for a new agreement, C7. Here is a proposal for the agreement of the piano:
C7: C3 E3 Bb3
Now you need toRepeat the above line before proceeding to the next part:
Are (F) green when summer (C7) days are bright
C5 (F) C5 D5 C5 A4 (C7) C5 Bb4 Bb4
C5 is the C in the eighth on the right side of C4.
Time for the next line:
They are (C7) when the green (F) in winter snow is white
Bb4 (C7) C5 Bb4 Bb4 G4 (F) Bb4 A4 A4
Now we just need to repeat the first two lines and you're done!
O (F) O Christmas tree, Christmas tree
C4 (F) F4 F4 F4 G4 G4 G4 G4
Their(C7) branches of green (F), light will
A4 (C7) E4 G4 A4 Bb4 (C) G4 F4
I suggest you take this song to heart a little line at a time to learn. Virtually every first line with the right hand melody, until you master. Then it's time to add your left hand chords. If a line from memory with the melody and chords, it's time to move to the next line.
Before you know it the song is over and can contribute to the spirit of Christmas in a new environment!
